The Summer Credit Recovery Program will take place June 1 – June 25 from 9 AM until 1 PM on Monday through Thursday at Central High School. All schools will be closed on June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth.

In order to be eligible for Summer Credit Recovery, the student must have finished their course with a grade between 50 and 59.

Summer Credit Recover Eligible Courses

  • English 9, 10, and 11
  • Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2
  • Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry
  • US History, World Geography
  • Spanish 1 and 2

Student Expectations for the Summer Program

  • Students are expected to attend every day with a charged Chromebook.
  • Students should arrive by 9:00am (through the agora) every day and report to the library in order to complete coursework. 
  • Student backpacks and electronic devices (cell phones, smart watches, wireless earbuds/headphones) will be secured upon entering.
  • Students must complete the assigned course to earn a grade of 60 to receive the course credit. 
  • Students attending the Summer Program are expected to be in school appropriate clothes for the entire summer session. 
  • Students will be dismissed from the library and should have transportation home by 1:00pm. each day
  • A student’s third day of absence may result in dismissal.  
  • Students that do not complete the summer course recovery program will be re-enrolled in the course as a repeater.
